Four-year-old Lizzie Gold, who has Pallister-Killian syndrome, with massage therapist Candace Linares of Crescent Cove
Emily Gold and her four-year-old Lizzie, who has Pallister-Killian syndrome, get their monthly home visit massage therapy session with Candace Linares, left, of Crescent Cove (an organization whose mission is to create a children’s residential hospice and respite care home in Minnesota) at the Gold family's home near Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 22, 2015. Linares says the massage sessions are usually divided equally between treatment for the child and for the parent/caretaker, but on this day Emily's treatment was much shorter than Lizzie's.
Emily and David Gold have four children: Grace (7 months), Hannah (2 1/2), Lizzie (4 1/2), and Charlie (6).
