[ Angela Jimenez/Special to the Star-Tribune angelajime@gmail.com Assignment #20037094A_ SLUG: PUBLIC120914_ EXTRA INFORMATION: Tricia Khutoretsky, who finds the idea of a straight-up art opening outdated, is the curator of the northeast-Minneapolis combo gallery and gathering spot Public Functionary. The Thai-born, Egypt-raised entrepreneur and her cohorts are trying to create a new kind of arts scene that is as much about interactivity and integrating the arts with surrounding community as it is bringing in top talent.
