2015 International Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) Championships at the Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Fans of the Gotham Girls Roller Derby (of New York City) cheer on their team in the Division 1 first place (championship) game at the 2015 International Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) Championships at the Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium in Saint Paul, Minnesota on November 8, 2015. The Rose City Rollers (of Portland, Oregon) won 206-195 in a fight to the finish that saw ten lead changes, breaking the New York team’s five-year unbeaten streak. Hydra is the name for the championships' roller skate-shaped trophy.
Teams, hosted by the local Minnesota RollerGirls (the all star team was defeated earlier in the tournament) from around the US and the world competed in a single elimination tournament from November 6-8, 2015.
