Black Lives Matters protest outside the Minneapolis Police Department 4th precinct
Ajay Kyle, 6, huddles under blankets and the watchful eye of his father as his mother Jayanthi was on the street singing her civil rights anthem "Hand in Hand" for protesters with the Black Lives Matter movement, during another night of protest outside the Minneapolis Police Department 4th precinct headquarters on Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A more mellow and festive atmosphere, with a smaller police presence, prevailed after Wednesday evening's tear gas clashes between police and protesters.
Protests and an encampment at the site have been ongoing since the police shooting of 24-year-old Jamar Clark by Minneapolis Police on Sunday, November 15.
