Roger Hanson, of Big Lake, Minnesota, has been building the Lake Superior Ice Project in Superior, Wisconsin for several months, living in an RV nearby from which he operates the computerized command center he created to make the structure. Today, the four-tier, 66' structure fell to the ground.
Hanson, center, and Mary Morgan, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry for the City of Superior hold an impromptu press conference with local press in front of the RV and the fallen sculpture.
