The Championships, which include track & field events (as well as race walking, marathon, cross country, half marathon and combined events) contested by athletes of 35 ages and over divided into 5-year age divisions, are being held at multiple locations in Lyon, France from August 4 through 16, 2015.

The second day of the decathlon competition includes the 80 meter hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin and the 1500 meters. Combined events are scored using an international point table, and masters scores are age-graded so they are comparable across age ranges.
