Black Lives Matters protest outside the Minneapolis Police Department 4th precinct
Ibrahim Kamia of Minneapolis, with his daughter Yeleen, 3, drove a minivan full of wood from his backyard to donate for fires to warm Black Lives Matter protesters as people gathered for a night of community and protest outside the Minneapolis Police Department 4th precinct headquarters on Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He said he wanted his daughter to see the scene.
A more mellow and festive atmosphere, with a smaller police presence, prevailed after Wednesday evening's tear gas clashes between police and protesters.
Protests and an encampment at the site have been ongoing since the police shooting of 24-year-old Jamar Clark by Minneapolis Police on Sunday, November 15.
