Performer Candis Cayne, left, poses in the window of The Tomato Restaurant on 6th Avenue near the corner of 21st Street in Manhattan as a fan, right, a man whom she knows only as Pashka and who shows up weekly to watch her through the window of the club, oogles her during her weekly performance of The Candis Cayne Show; Cayne uses a wireless microphone to talk, lip sync and sing to the crowd who watches this portion of the show from inside the club through the restaurant window.
Cayne occassionally has fanatic fans who are fascinated by her gender identity- she and other trans women call them "trannie chasers", people who fetishize transgendered women. These are not to be confused with people who form real relationships with trans women.
